SUAC interview

  What is SUAC?

The Students' Union Advice Centre (SUAC)  is an advice centre for potential and current students. We are a free service and totally confidential.

We aim to give the best possible advice
to all our students and this sometimes means referring you to another agency that can help.

SUAC deals with many areas of student concern including:

  • Financial issues
  • Academic issues
  • Housing issues
  • Employment rights
  • Disability issues
  • Childcare issues
  • Hate Crime reporting

Experienced advisers...

You might worry that you're the first person to encounter a particular problem but you're not. Last year we dealt with more than 6,000 enquiries so we're sure to have met others facing the same situation.

SUAC's three advisers have more than 25 years experience between them so they will have dealt with your question before.

How to contact us...

SUAC is open all year round, you can make an appointment to see an advisor at reception in Students' Union Priory Street. Alternatively, call 024 7679 5200.

Our advisers deal with phone queries between 9am and 10am and from 2pm-3pm on 024 7679 5200 between Monday - Friday, but is closed on Wednesday's.

Drop-in sessions are available Monday to Friday between noon and 12.45pm. However, the drop-in service only operates during term-time.
